Level One Philosophy in Schools Workshop

This course will be particularly suitable for educators who are interested in introducing collaborative philosophical inquiry into their classroom. Teachers will not only increase their understandings of the process for teaching Philosophy for Children but also participate in a number of community of inquiries.

Completion of the full requirements of the workshop entitles one to teach Philosophy in Schools at any Australian school.

Introductory Philosophy in Schools Workshop

This course will be particularly suitable for teachers who are interested in introducing collaborative philosophical inquiry into their classroom. Teachers will not only increase their understandings of the process of teaching Philosophy for Children but also participate in a number of communities of inquiry. Upon completion, which includes some assessment. Successful completion sees participants receive an “introductory Philosophy in Schools Certificate”.

Philosophy WACE Revision Session

This full day course is designed for Philosophy and Ethics students of all skills to prepare themselves for their WACE examinations. Taken by trained APIS presenters and experienced philosophy teachers, the revision session provides a great opportunity for students to refine their knowledge or work on their written expression. A frequently sold out event it is not to be missed!
