Time: 8.30am Registration for 9am start. Sessions finish at 5pm.
6pm – 7:30pm UNDA’s The Institute for Ethics and Society QndA Event Public panel discussion “How can philosophy help C21st learners?”
Topics: Philosophy in Schools around the world: the latest initiatives and research worldwide; Engaging thinking in the Primary Classroom; Philosophy in Public Spaces; Using Philosophy to create 21st century thinkers in schools; How to more accurately and transparently assess Philosophical Inquiry; Moral Education in a technological world.
The full day may be counted as 6 hours (7.5 hours including the evening panel) of ‘teacher identified professional development’ addressing standards 3.3.2 & 6.2.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
The workshop will be fully catered.
Cost: $120 Early bird tickets $100 prior to May 31 2019.
